It's funny. I've been thinking about this for awhile now.. specifically the months prior to my most recent birthday, and thus far every single minute, day, and month after. I actually Googled "Is there such a thing as a quarter life crisis?". Before I started the u in quarter, it had popped up. I wasn't, and am not the only one analyzing my life and mind like this. That truly, feels.. for lack of a better word, cool. Thanks for this post, while it didn't solve a damn bit of a thing for me, it did make me feel better.

I think it will have to be about the food that we eat. The food we are eating now is obviously killing us. I think we are just tapping the surface with food labels. The average size shoe for a female when I was growing up was size 7. My daughter is 13 and wears a 9. Many of her friends wear 10 or 11.

I get that too. It's called "phantom texting." But in your case, Al, it could also be your pocket vibrator

I swear my legs are starting to feel texts before I get them. I always keep my phone on vibrate and recently I've noticed time to time my leg will feel like it's vibrating from a text I'll pull my phone out and bow! I receive a text. Not happy about it, specially when my phone clearly has a cancer corner.

That's my life, changing preferences every minutes and trying to figure how to make your life bettr. The morale of this story is that it's never enough and you need to appreciated the present moment and what and who you have in your life.

Here is 3 quotations I like and I don't give a &"?/ if you don't:

Live as if you were to die tomorrow. Learn as if you were to live forever.

Live it since it's only going to be there once and stop worying about tomorrow since you are not there yet.

Do not seek pleasure everywhere but always be ready to find it.

Great post. Yes, indeed, a quarter life crisis is identifiable as such, but also may come under such titles as 'identity crisis'. But it is not necessary, just as you don't need to have a midlife crisis, a marriage crisis or other 'crisis'. if you're feeling in between past and future, a gap feeling, you are not alone. A typical quarter life crisis lasts about 2 years and is a great opportunity for growth as a person, gaining strengths for a lifetime of ups and downs. 80% of those who sought counsel from a friend, parent, other family member, coach are happy they did! Good luck !
